  4. This program is originally from Germany.  I spent a lot  of 
  5. time to translate it from German to English and  especially 
  6. the  translation  of the countries and  capitols  sometimes 
  7. made me think to skip the whole project. With the help of a 
  8. friend  of  mine (THANKS BILL!) we finally got 99%  of  the 
  9. names   translated.   There  are  still  a  few   countries 
  10. (especially  around Oceania) that haven't been  translated, 
  11. yet.  That's  because  we couldn't even find  them  in  the 
  12. "TEACHER'S  EDITION  WORLD  GEOGRAPHY".   Also,  I  haven't 
  13. translated  most  of  the  West-German   countries/capitols 
  14. except of the really popular ones like Munich etc.

  16. So,  if  you ever find a misspelled country or capitol  you 
  17. can easily change it by editing the file T.DAT with a  word 
  18. processor.  Please  leave  me a little note in  my  mailbox 
  19. (GEnie   adress   is   J.FASS)  if   you   find   something 
  20. untranslated.

  22. The  program is self-explanatory so I really don't need  to 
  23. say anything about it.

  25. In respect of the authors original version I decided to put 
  26. the untranslated program-files in the archieve  file.  They 
  27. are named as WORLD.PRX and T.DAX.  If you want to have  the 
  28. origial  version just delete the files WORLD.PRG and  T.DAT 
  29. and  rename the files WORLD.PRX and T.DAX to WORLD.PRG  and 
  30. T.DAT.

  35. P.S. If you ever answer all countries and capitols  correct 
  36.      you're a geography-genius.

  38.      I know that there is a copyright note in the program but
  39.      let me  asure you that WORLD is public domain and can
  40.      be spreaded without any profit (that's what the info-box
  41.      says when you click on Info in the menue. I was just to
  42.      lazy to translate that, too).
